Let's talk
Are you interested in becoming Greek? Let's talk about your options and what is involved in recruitment!
NPC Recruitment
Women's recruitment (PHC) is what is referred to as "very structured". At the beginning of each semester, each sorority cannot offer a bid to join until after the "formal" recruitment process. Contact Kristen Fouts, VP of Recruitment for Panhellenic Executive Board.
IFC Recruitment
Men's recruitment is year-round and you can be offered a bid to join at any time. However, most organizations begin their new member process a month or more into the semester, and usually only offer bids for that semester until the beginning of their program. Contact Chris Gordon, VP of Recruitment for IFC Executive Board.
NPHC Recruitment
NPHC organizations include both sororities and fraternities that have membership which as historically been African American. However, membership is not limited to those students. Recruitment for NPHC organizations varies according to organization, so we recommend contacting each individual that fits you for more information!
Requirements for Membership
To recieve a bid from a Greek organization, a student must be enrolled full time at Slippery Rock University and must have a minimum 2.5 QPA. However, organizations may have other requirements for membership.
